Laura Maria Wulff is an assistant buyer at VooStore, the Berlin’s coolest spot for high and street fashion. She travels to Milan, London and Paris for fashion weeks and picks the crème de la crème from designers’ collections – clothes that local fashion crowd will be craving, haunting and wearing in the upcoming season (and if to some of us this sounds like a dream job, well then, probably because it is!).

Yet when it comes to her own wardrobe choices, Laura seems to have little interest for what’s hot and trendy. Instead, she looks for some simple and cool pieces and puts a lot of creativity to make them “her own”: her outfits are surprising and unfamiliar, even when she wears simple jeans and a T-shirt. For us, it's always a refreshing thing to see and get inspiration from.



Thing №1 on your wishlist right now?

The perfect summer mules, which I can wear every day with a pair of jeans. They make a great look, elegant but cool and easy. And I’m also looking for a good salad spinner.

How do you start your day?

I listen to Deutschlandfunk radio.

The last thing that made you laugh?

When a friend of mine put a smelly cheese in my bed. He loves to annoy me with little things. I really hated the smell and the cheese. This time it ended up in a game «who of us put the cheese where». I was laughing a lot.

What is your signature clothing item?

My big earrings I guess.

How do you spoil yourself?

I buy the clothes I like, no matter how much it costs. Dangerous!

What is your secret talent?

I have no secrets.

Would you rather cook dinner or eat out?

Eat out.

How do you approach shopping?

I am super spontaneous, and I barely shop online - I need to get in the mood of the collection.

What do you always carry in your purse?

An extra pair of earrings, sometimes my mood changes in the middle of the day.
