Feb 14 I AM wishlist / spring coats
Resort 2017
Can you feel it? Spring is just around the corner! And here's one thing that makes this fact even more exciting for us: it’s finally time to invest in a new coat.

Yes, easy it may sound, but what exactly is it that makes a perfect coat? How do we know which one is the one?

We stick to the simple formula. Finding a perfect coat is pretty much like falling into a new perfect relationship. First, we want it to get along with the good old friends in our closets, or simply put, be adaptable. Furthermore, and let’s admit it, most of the times we would count on our coat, not the shoes or the bag, to do the job of "making" the whole outfit. And that means, we want it everything but boring.

We stand by these four fresh ideas to get us covered this spring.

The oversized coat

Our true love affair! The oversized coat with wide lapels and hem that falls below the knee is a reliable style partner for that in between season. We know we simply can’t go wrong with the rich camel hue, but there’s also a more sophisticated option in black with checked print that we just can’t get enough of.

The transformer coat

What at first glance looks like a classic femme outerwear is in fact three pieces all in one package, also known as our signature transformer coat. Here’s the trick: take the cropped jacket, put the long west over it and voilà – the coat is ready to . And oh, did we mention this season it comes in pretty shades of dusty blue, aquamarine and hazel? We’re definitely in for some color.

The robe coat

Sometimes we just want to stay in our comfort zone. What makes us fall for the robe coat is the cuddly silhouette and the effortless feel that comes along. We will tie up the belt at the waist to make the entire look pulled together or wear it open to float through the streets on those easy casual days.

The basic coat

We all know the power of a well-tailored basic coat. We can dress it up and down, throw it on over jeans or a dress. In the end, it just leaves us a bigger room for creativity and brings much confidence to our wardrobe. We’re thinking primary colors: grey, camel, red.
