[ IF I BUY SOMETHING NEW, I DO WEAR IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL I GET SICK OF IT AND STORE IT FOR A WHILE. ]

Sabrina Meijer is an editor and photographer based in Amsterdam. After running her personal style blog for a long time, last year she started off with a new project, intoIT Magazine, sharing and curating her point of view on both fashion and photography.

Sabrina's outfits always look uncomplicated yet edgy. She mainly trusts her wardrobe basics mixing them in a fresh new way. Read on to find out her styling tricks, what she thinks about Instagram, and why she is going back to school.

What’s the idea behind IntoIT Magazine?

IntoIT magazine is an online magazine, almost completely photography based. It’s a collective of different stories and we focus on a new and creative way to shed light on a world that seems to be excessively (over)exposed.

What does your morning routines look like?

If sleeping was a hobby, it would be my favourite. I like sleeping as long as possible, then give myself 45 minutes maximum to eat breakfast (breakfast is important!) and get ready, hop on my bike and get to the office. It’s a bit of a rush, really.

What’s your greatest talent?

I guess it’s drawing! I used to draw every single day and it’s the one thing I think I should start doing again. My grandpa taught me how to draw and I also have a tattoo of his signature on my wrist.

What would you say is your signature styling trick?

Currently it’s hoodies with everything.

Your current obsession?

My analog camera, a Contax T3.

What role does social media play in your everyday life?

For intoIT magazine, Instagram is one of the most important social platforms. We use it all day everyday. Not only for posting, but also for research, discovering new and interesting people / accounts and brands, etc.

How do you decide on your daily outfit, and what’s most important to you?

I have a few uniforms that I depend on for a few months and then I hop on to the next. For example, if I buy something new, I do wear it over and over and over again until I get sick of it and store it for a while. It’s the same with a new song I discover. I first have it on repeat for a while until I store it in my ‘ultimate playlist’ and get back to it when I feel like it.

Do you cook? If yes, what’s your specialty?

Let’s say kitchen is not my favorite space in the house. I hate doing groceries, I dislike supermarkets and I can’t really cook. I do have a few signature dishes that I have fine-tuned over the years. I can do a good pasta or soba noodles with salmon and broccoli.

The last thing that made you laugh?

The last thing that made me laugh so hard that I almost fell off my hotel bed was when I was in London for Fashion Week and my friend Nicole did a Beyoncé impersonation wearing a hotel robe, my belt and my highest heels.

Your plans for the upcoming months?

In the next few months I will continue traveling quite a lot. I am also going back to school for a photography course and I couldn’t be more excited!
